LOYOLA - ARGENTINA - URUGUAY INTERCAMBIO - 2012
In addition to the six students and one chaperone who have been visiting Loyola from Colegio Del Salvador in Buenos Aires, Argentina for the last month, Loyola High School welcomes 12 students and two chaperones from the Jesuit Colegio Seminario in Montevideo, Uruguay this week. Loyola families will play host for 11 students and one chaperone from the Jesuit Colegio Inmaculada in Santa Fe, Argentina starting this Friday. Loyola students, staff and faculty are invites to stop by the Community Service Center to meet our guest Ignatian brothers and sisters.

Seniors still missing signed time sheet for Senior Service Project - attached. Must be submitted to Community Service in order to get credit for the program on the transcript grade (CR). Due date was February 3. Now over due.

EVERYDAY: Juniors and sophomore service proposals are accepted by Mr. Zeko and Mrs. Moran in the Service Center. All sophomore and junior service proposals are due by March 1. Summer Service Session by special request only before March 1. Proposals must be submitted and accepted before the start of the volunteer hours, if the student wants co-curricular credit for the experience.
ATTENTION SOPHOMORES AND JUNIORS: We are in need of students to serve as tutors for the HSPT-7 Tutoring Program. You apply this service (20 hours of volunteer hours) towards your sophomore/junior community service requirement. If you would like to sign-up, please stop by the Community Service Office this week for information and forms.

ATTENTION FRESHMEN: If you did NOT--repeat--DID NOT-- attend last week's informational meeting to enroll into next year's Honors English 2 class and you still wish to be considered, you MUST see Mr. Caldwell this week in Room P206 to receive essential information and to fill out a required application.
MARCH 1 is the absolute deadline to register and pay for AP exams. All students in all AP courses MUST
register for these exams – no exceptions! Anyone who fails to meet this deadline will receive JUG.
