French Club

The mission of the club is to promote French culture in the Loyola community. Through activities such as the festive event of Mardi Gras; the visits to Le Taix, a classic French restaurant in Los Angeles; and one-on-one discussions with guests who are native speakers, the club exposes students to the French perspective, breaking the barriers of cultural and political stereotypes. We will be making plans for a trip to France next June, which will include a retreat and volunteering opportunities to make cheese in a monastery. Overall, the aim of the club, as the French would say, “S’amuser”-to have fun.
